Normativity Test

Family Test – Five dimensions of study
The family test is an essential tool for assessing your home situation. It will allow you to evaluate the key dimensions for an optimal education during your children's adolescence.
Normativity defines your relationship with norms and your ability to create and maintain them. At Parents in the Cloud we study four fundamental dimensions of Normativity.
- Establishing Standards: reflects your ability to create rules with justice and equity. It includes the management of cooperative agreements. The best assessment for this dimension is overall family functioning.
- Supervision: refers to the ability to maintain oversight of compliance with established standards. Creating a good standard is just as important as evaluating whether it is being implemented properly. It can be expressed through direct management or through delegation of functions.
- Flexibility: includes aspects that are secondary to norms, such as flexibility and adaptability. A norm makes sense in a time and space, but loses coherence if the context in which it is applied changes. Even norms can be adapted based on people and their individual characteristics.
- Family roles: In a home, norms can be established by one or more people. Sometimes, the role of each member in the family determines their ability to generate and comply with norms.
