Emotional Intelligence Test
Family Test – Five dimensions of study
The family test is an essential tool for assessing your home situation. It will allow you to evaluate the key dimensions for an optimal education during your children's adolescence.
Although it has only recently been defined, Emotional Intelligence is one of the most important abilities we have to achieve our goals. At Padres en la Nube we have taken into account four fundamental dimensions to define Emotional Intelligence.
- Emotional Control: through this skill you can deal with problematic situations at home without letting yourself be carried away by your feelings. Emotional control is a complex ability that is difficult to acquire and is also highly valued in order to be a good educator.
- Empathy: It is the ability that allows you to put yourself in another person's shoes and experience their feelings with them. Correct empathy is the kind that does not lead you to experience shared emotions, but rather allows you to contemplate them from the outside, understanding them but without letting them affect you personally.
- Emotional Expression: it provides the ability to effectively transmit feelings. It is difficult to manage and is highly conditioned by the environment and situations.
- Recognition of Errors: A good educator is one who has the maturity to recognize that he or she can make mistakes. Taking advantage of mistakes as a learning opportunity is an important aspect of people with high Emotional Intelligence.
