  1. Anxiety: Anxiety is one of the most common mental health disorders in adolescents. It can manifest as excessive worry, nervousness, intense fear, or avoidance of social or academic situations. Teens with anxiety may feel overwhelmed by academic, social, or family expectations, which can lead to problems such as school absenteeism or social isolation.
    For example, a teenager may avoid going to school because of an intense fear of public speaking or being judged by peers. This type of social anxiety can significantly interfere with their academic performance and ability to interact with others.
